Listed in the register of Historical Monuments, the Tower of Crest stands proudly at the gateway to the Vercors. From the terraces of this, at 52 meters, a striking view unfolds across the Drôme Valley and surrounding mountains.
On the inside, the Tower comes alive with its lightings, sound effects, models and explanations recounting 900 years of history.

Discover the medieval Tower with its battlements and lord’s residence recreates the life of feudal times. Between the 15th and the 19th centuries, the Tower served as a prison for protestants, libertines and republicans and the graffiti left on its walls evoke the prisoner’s sense of rebellion, their sufferings and their hopes.
